Everything we ordered was delicious. Artichokes, squid pasta, pizza, and the tartar. My only complaint is the acoustics, terrible echo and very loud music

Osteria La Buca is a great spot with beautiful decor and date night vibes. There is valet available but I found street parking down the road very easily on a weeknight dinner. The communication pre-meal is good, with reminders of arrival and checking in if they should still be expecting you. Complimentary bread - no spread or butter but the bread itself was really good. What we ordered: + Farm salad - a very simple salad, but good if you'd like some greens in the mix + Cacio e Pepe Arancini - a heartier starter but it's good. The arancini is crispy exterior with a soft interior. Cacio flavoring was a little more muted. Sauce was good and you needed the sauce to complete the dish. + Octopus - I really liked the black rice with Greek yogurt spread that was paired with this. + Carbonara - my friend is a carbonara connoisseur and approved of this one! I liked it, but thought it could be creamier for me.

Stopped here for a bite on our way back to our home after a weekend in the area so freaking delicious . Very filling, portion size is huge, the staff is great (hi Shannon!), drinks are perfect. No complaints. My favorite thing was that ricotta though. So good!!!

Decided on an early valentines dinner at Osteria La Buca and it did NOT disappoint!!! We order the pork meat balls, rigatoni corto, sausage n Peppers pizza, and last but not least Chicken Parmesan. And let me tell you.. IT WAS ALL FULL OF FLAVOR!!! My favorite was definitely the pizza, the way the house ricotta blends in when you bite into it... ufff!!! To die for!!! But let me not forget our bartender Natalia she was the sweetest, most attentive bartender I've ever came across. She made sure to check on us and never have our cup empty! I'm glad we found our next Italian spot near our home!

OMG. My first time here and this is my new favorite spot. Food was AMAZING Had the beef tartare, absolutely perfect Octopus was so tender Bacon honey pizza is to die for. The absolute best pizza I have ever had. Flavor explosion. Enjoyed the short rib ravioli. Least fav was the parpadelli but still solid. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was so friendly to us. Dessert was on point. We hade the butterscotch pudding. If I were to pick on one thing, would be place is smaller and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Thank you for an amazing mean. Can't wait to go back

Osteria La Buca was a great experience for us. The food was great, outdoor dining was comfortable even in winter, service was attentive and friendly. Would recommend for an upscale and high quality meal. FOOD: great! We tried fish options, pasta, and steak. While the portion size of the fish was underwhelming on the plate, it was a reasonable amount. The flavor was also very much there. The pasta was perfectly done and had the homemade taste that you strive for at upscale Italian dining. And lastly, the bread was awesome. A home baked sort of sourdough which was crisp and soft at the same time. AMBIANCE: we sat outdoors which was actually very pleasant. Not too loud, not too cold or warm. SERVICE: very good. Not exceptional (just because they could have been even more attentive) but the staff were friendly and accommodating so this definitely met expectations. A great experience overall!

I love this restaurant. I have gone to their location on Melrose and I love that restaurant a lot and now I go here locally because I live in Sherman Oaks. I actually like this one better it's brighter and a different vibe than the one in Melrose. The food is the same quality really impressive options. They're servings are perfect for two people and I love their appetizers. You have to try the crispy brussels sprouts and the house made ricotta. Definitely get the octopus. If you can, the rice with the octopus is so incredible. And then their pasta dishes are really fun. I do need to take a second to appreciate their cocktails. They have an incredible cocktail menu. I believe it's a bit inspired by classic gimlet to tiki drinks. They're very delicious and sweet and they have a couple classics. Also the bartenders seem to be very experienced and they can probably make you whatever you want because they're usually are really kind people working at their restaurants. They have cute tables and they can put them together for parties. I've seen up to 16 people sit down and have an intimate dinner. They seem to be able to handle everything and I really enjoy being there and no matter what's going on. They have outdoor seating that's very quaint on a beautiful part of Ventura. We're regulars here we love it.

Went there for lunch and glad they were not busy since we didn't have a reservation and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately once we were seated it did take awhile to get waters and a menu. The service was slow with only one server, and it appeared the bartender and maybe the manager were helping out. Bread came out well after we ordered our food and without butter, olive oil or any condiments. She brought the olive oil with a promise to bring out more bread but that never came. Glad our entrees were so flavorful that it made up for not getting the second round of bread. We got the Nero spaghetti and the carbonara. The carbonara had a poached egg to add any additional layer of richness.

Checked out this spot for some delicious pasta ! Defs will be back for the pasta noodles for at home pasta night ! Spaghetti Pomodoro - Perfection ! the pasta had the perfect chewiness. The tomato sauce was so fresh and the added basil was the perfect garnish ! Octopus - Delicious ! it was paired perfectly with the risotto and the risotto had a nice crisp to it Short Rib Ravioli - Okay. It wasn't bad, but it was quite heavy, very very cheesy and creamy. Tiramisu - Fluffy ! The coffee flavor wasn't too intense, it had the right amount of kick. The cream was soft and melted in your mouth !
